The Gen-Z Hit List: Wonder Women

If there was ever a question of where men derive their confidence from, I believe I answered it as I walked out after a screening of Wonder Woman last week. I left the first female superhero film for more than a decade (not to mention the highest-earning US opening from a female director ever) feeling like I could quite literally rule the world. The film was by no means perfect. The plot was by no means airtight. But simply the feeling of seeing a lady, with lady parts, kick ass for two hours and the knowledge that that lady was being directed by another lady made me feel powerful and confident and like, perhaps, I too had the power to destroy bad guys while maintaining exceptionally shiny hair.
